A costume based on the abstract personification of fear, with a focus on millinery. The costume explores the constricting, overpowering feelings associated with fear, especially the motion of hiding under the covers and being too scared to scream. The headpiece features a faux-leather facial harness and neck corset with boning, organza, tulle, and 3D-printed claws, with a buckram hat.
